There are a number of options for visiting Martinborough Wineries. Martinborough is small on scale and big on reputation, it is one of the few places in the world where you can walk around the wineries. We have maps available at reception and bikes to hire if you prefer two wheels to two feet. If a tour is more your thing then we can book those too.
Cycle Hire
An easy and environmentally friendly way to explore the vineyards. We have tandems and bicycles available to hire from reception. TOP 10 members receive a 10% discount off the best rate of the day.
Vineyard and Winery Tour at Margrain Vineyard Tuesday to Saturday 11.30am
The tour takes participants through the vine to wine process and the history of Margrain and Martinborough winemaking, tasting as you go. $35.00 per person. Tours are available Tuesday to Saturday at 11.30am. Bookings essential, call 06 306 9292.
Martinborough Wine Tours
If you are looking for a little more luxury then this is the tour for you. Tours include full or half day Martinborough winery tours, the Pinot to Palliser tour which takes in the stunning scenery of Palliser bay and a Rural Wine and Farm tour. Half day tours start from $145 per person, with a 10% discount available to TOP 10 Club Members. Come and see us in reception for more information.
Martinborough Brewery
Visit this beer-lovers haven for a wide range of small batch craft beers, brewed on site. Our favourites are the Ohio APA and the Vintage Gold, but the best place to start is with a tasting paddle.
